Our lessons are very affordable but the cost of each lesson is dependant on your location and that of your chosen teachers. We ask for payment in advance but our payment plans are flexible and can be done on a weekly or monthly basis.
Yes! You can have more than one teacher for the same language in separate lessons. We actually advise this as it is helpful for you to hear multiple accents.
Zoom, WhatsApp, Skype, Teams - you name it, we teach on it! We do suggest Zoom and WhatsApp but are happy to accommodate your preference.
One of the best things about LK Languages is that you don’t need to buy anything to learn! We believe that we shouldn’t adapt to a course book, but the course book should get adapted to our lessons! Therefore we prefer to collect material from different resources in order to effectively meet your needs. But if you would like course books, LK languages can of course make recommendations.
Yes - we offer a 30 minute free conversation with the teacher of your choice! This way you get a lesson sample and also a chance to discuss your specific needs, wants and goals.
Everyone is different but you will get out what you put in. Remember we are a team and one lesson per week is not enough, you need to spend at least 10 minutes a day practising and immersing yourself in the language if fluency is your goal.
This is dependant on your level. For beginners we suggest two one hour lessons per week and for advanced two half hour lessons per week. However we understand that this may not work for everyone and are happy to accommodate!
If you don’t know what level you are - do not worry! One of our teachers will assess your level in the first conversation and let you know.
You can cancel or reschedule a lesson anytime with 24 hours notice. Bear in mind language needs fluency so if you keep cancelling it will hinder your progress - so it is important to agree a day and time that works for you. If it’s less than 24 hours your lesson will be forfeit. However exceptions related to Covid-19, accidents or emergencies are at the discretion of LK Languages.
It is very rare that a teacher will cancel. However, they are human and from time to time that can happen. We will try and give as much notice as possible and offer the option of rescheduling or cover when possible.
The only thing you need to prepare is a strong wifi connection and a quiet room. It is also handy to have a pen and paper for notes.
