LK Teacher

Salut! My name is Ciara and I’m a teacher and performer from Ireland. I was raised in France by Irish parents, and grew up as a bilingual English and French native speaker. It was from this that I developed my passion for languages. I was also aware of different cultures from a very young age. I have lived, studied and worked in Belfast, London and Berlin (and was born in the USA), so I have experienced many different cultures and ways of life.

I graduated from King’s College London with a First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in German and Music, before going on to study a Masters in Performance at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Alongside my acting career, I have worked as a performance teacher and language tutor.  French, German and English communication are therefore at the centre of all my work.

I love bringing fun, creativity and enthusiasm to every lesson, and look forward to working with you to achieve your language goals, improve your fluency and, most importantly increase your confidence in language. I’m delighted to be joining the LK Languages team!
